Hi, this is Wesley Winford, and today I'll be showing you how to tune your guitar in E formation. Okay so the first note obviously is an E which you're going to start on and then the next note is a B. So that is the next note of an E chord. So on your tuner, tune that up to a B then after that the next note is an E and that will be on the D string so tune that D up to an E. So we go and then the next note is going to be a G Sharp and on the G string so you're going to tune that up just a half step. So now your notes will follow E, B, E, G Sharp, B, E. So make sure all your, all your strings are in tune because when you're tuning your strings like up like that, like we just did, like up a whole step, they're going, your strings are probably not going to be used to tuning up so far. So make sure they're right in tune like that and that is the open E chord right there. And that is how to tune your guitar in E.
