Alright, this is Wesley Winford, and today I'll be showing you how to string your guitar. What you want to start off with at first is don't take all the strings off at once. Never do that with a Gretsch, any hollow body Gretsch, because if you do then your bridge piece is going to fall off which means you'll have to reintonate the whole thing which is not good. So start off with one string at a time and you're going to just unwind it and take it off the loop there and you know, get the new string and restring that one and you're just going to go string by string but be real careful not to, be real careful with the bridge because the strings are the only thing that's holding it down. So be aware of that whenever you are restringing your guitar. Here's a Tele and when you're restringing a Tele, you can, you can take all the strings off at once or you can do one at a time it doesn't really matter. There's nothing you have to worry about that's going to fall off unless you have the, you know your guitar upside down which you know, the bridge might kind of fall off but keep your guitar flat whenever you're changing the strings. So you can just take them all off at once. It's no big deal and that was tips on how to restring your guitar.
