Hi, this is Wesley Winford, and today I'll be showing you how to write songs for a guitar. When you're thinking of a melody or a chord progression I would say do as an example, let's do like a, like a G to a C, like, something like that. So you could do like, kind of the same rhythm. A lot of lead lines, they follow, they usually follow what the rhythm is doing also or maybe what the vocals are doing or kind of working off each other, so like, so I was kind of hitting a G, a C. So I was hitting, I was sliding up to a B note right there and then when I went to a C, I slid up to a C note right there which is a B note right there, is there's a B and a G Chord right there, a standard G chord and then a C you know that note is in that chord too. This has been how to write music for the electric guitar.
