Hi, I'm Trevor Marty, and I'd like to welcome you today to my home recording studio. I've been playing music for about 25 years, and today I'm going to show you some easy blues scales on the guitar. This is going to be an E, alright, that's an E. What we're going to do is this, we're going to start on the third fret of the E string open, and then three. The A string you go open, and you go two. The D string you go open, and the two. The G string is the same, open, two. The B string is open, three. And, the high E string is just open. But, because that's an octave, low E, high E, you can get fun, and you can go. Alright? So, here's - we'll play E, okay? Now, see what I'm doing? This is an E, and I'm just going the first two notes of a scale. There we go. We're going to go to A soon, and then here's A, and you can do the same thing with the A. Remember, that was part of the scale now. Then, we'll go to the B7, to the A. And, all of those were in the scale. I'm Trevor Marty, and you've been hanging with me in my home recording studio, learning easy blues scales for the guitar.
