Hi, my name is Chris Wade and I'm a Contractor in the City of Los Angeles. Today, I'm going to show you how to fix a weak toilet flush. You're finding that you have a double flush, just doesn't seem like it's going down good enough. With these low flow toilets, what I am finding out is I replace them that, because the water level, if you look right here, you can see that's the water level is, is half the size of this tank. Now, science has told us that water, when water is flushed, the gravity and the weight of the water is what pushes the water through, through the pee trap, the built in pee trap comes through here and it all goes down. But, because we're in such a, in energy crisis, I guess you could call it, that they decided that half the distance is good enough. What you want to do is you want to tinker with the screw right here and basically, what this screw does is it adjusts the height of this ball when the water's running. You don't want to go too high 'cause you don't want the water to flow into this because then that's going to cause a constant running. Even though the water level is right here, maybe if you can just go up another inch or so, that would give it a little bit more pressure as this flushing. But like I said, this low flow toilets are going to use less water but you're going to find it that you're going to lose the pressure as it's flushing. So, it's kind of a trade of. That's really about it. Good luck.
