Hi, this is Raven T. Mitchell, expert with Dean Guitars, and in this clip we're going to go over a little bit of shredding technique. Now, some of what I want to do here is I'm going to combine some three-note-per-string scales with some alternate picking, and at the end I'm going to end it with a sweep arpeggio. This is going to be in the key of E, and here is the scale, slowly. So, you saw I played that in five different positions, moving down the strings, across the strings and ending with the sweep arpeggio. Let's play it again. I'll up the speed so you can see what that's going to sound like. One more time. And there you go. That's some simple shred technique. Keep working out your guitar playing. Remember your finger exercises, and remember, keep practicing. This is Raven T. Mitchell, expert with Dean Guitars.
