Hi, I'm Marika Neumann, and I'm going to show you how to use lighting when taking photos. The things you will need: a camera, a memory card, a subject, a diffuser, and a reflector. When you are out taking photos, lighting is one of the most important aspects of getting a good photograph. Outdoor lighting or natural lighting is the best kind. If you're out in direct sunlight, make sure to use a diffuser. Use the diffuser to block the sun from the subject. Then to fill in the light evenly, use flash. This will give you a lot options when it comes to camera settings. Another option, whether indoors or outdoors, is using a reflector. Use the reflector as a fill light on your subject. And use the main light as a backlight. For instance, if you're working outdoors, use the sun as your backlight, and use the reflector to bounce the sunlight on to their face for the fill light. And that is how to use lighting when taking photos.
