Hi, Everyone. My name is Nicole Nassief, with The Wedding League in Los Angeles, California, and today I'm going to be talking about how to make gift bags for your wedding guests. The key thing to remember when you're putting together a gift bag is to definitely keep in mind the theme of your wedding. So, I'm going to give you a few examples here that reflect a few different types of weddings, and then maybe that can spark some ideas for your own. So, the first one is kind of like a generic welcome. This is especially good for those couples that maybe don't live at home anymore, and have created their home in an different location. So, let's say, you as a couple now live in New York, but everyone else is spread out on the, you know, further in like east coast or west coast, or wherever. So, one really great thing to do is to get a bag, you can personalize it, or you don't need to, make sure you have some sort of welcome note or letter, and then fill it with other things like cheeses, crackers, a bottle of wine, and make sure it's a screw top, unless you want to provide them with some sort of a bottle opener. And then, the fun part to kind of add in and really focus on where you guys are now located, or your new home, is to put something from that place in the bag. So, for example, using the New York as your new home, you can put like, "I love New York" T-shirts in the bag, or little Statue of Liberty figurines in there, just so it's an extra personal touch. Another gift bag idea is if you are having a destination wedding, so it'd b really great to have the theme of the destination in your bag. So, let's say, for example, you're getting married in Paris. A great gift idea, you can find bags these days with kind of that Paris decor, you know, the fleur de lis and all that fun stuff. Inside, depending on when they're arriving, you again do cheeses and baguettes, or croissants, maybe some nutella, because those fun in crepes. And then, have fun with it again with a fun little token. Maybe buy everyone some cute little cheapy berrets, or a little French flag to put in there. And again, it's always important to remember to have that welcome note, or that letter, just to really thank everyone for one, traveling so far, and for celebrating this day with you. Another fun idea is to have a spa bag put together. So, you don't necessarily have to be having a full-blown spa wedding theme, but it's kind of going along the easygoing, you're relaxing, kind of a laid back kind of a feel of a theme. Obviously, in there you can put massage oils, maybe some bath salts, some slippers, or a robe if you really wanted to. Tons of different things that you can do, lotions. But, spa bags are very, very fun. And again, don't forget that note. The last one, because these types of wedding are so popular, Disney weddings are popping up all over, whether they're in Los Angeles, or even in Florida, or anywhere to be honest. You can have any kind of Disney wedding at any time. So, create a fun little Disney bag. Maybe have a little doll of Minnie or Mickey, perhaps put a DVD or two of your favorite Disney movies. You know, get those little suckers with the Mickey ears, like all sorts of fun stuff that you can do with Disney. That one is pretty much, you know, so many options for that. So again, just to take away the few things that you really should remember in making your gift bag is to definitely think about your theme and try to reflect it, because it's a very good extension of your theme. And also, to make sure that your guests definitely feel appreciated, because they're spending money to come celebrate with you , and taking time out of their lives. So, clearly, you are important to them. So, make sure that you thank them. Thank you so much for watching this video. Again, my name is Nicole Nassief, and this has been how to make gift bags for your wedding guests.
