Hi, I'm Dennis Mandragonna, chef at Porters Neck Country Club. Today we're going to have tips for a silicone baking mat. A silicone baking mat is a fiberglass mat, very thin, can go from freezer to oven, lasts a lifetime if you take care of it. Taking care of it, soapy water, and just wipe it. Don't put it in your dishwasher machine, just soapy water, and then wipe it dry, and let it - and hang it. Hang it, or make sure it gets dry. And they'll last forever. It can go into a 500 degree oven for an hour. It can go into a freezer for months. It's almost indestructible. You don't want to cut on it. Don't put a knife on it, it's just for baking, if you have chocolate, if you have cookies, you want to use cookies, Christmas cookies go on here. Put 'em in the oven, let 'em cool, they'll pop right off. Just don't use the knife or a metal spatula on it. That's our tips for the silicone baking mat.
