Hello! I'm Jacklyn Laflamme. I'm a professional artist with JacklynLaflamme.com. In this clip I'm going to show you how to draw a diamond. You'll need a sketch book, you'll need some black markers to draw with. Gonna start off with one line coming to a bottom point and then the other line. So it almost looks like a triangle. But instead of doing a line straight across, we're going to just do some jagged lines to show the different facets in the diamond. And we'll connect this line up here. Then we'll go to the top here and kind of follow the lines but make them a little bit smaller. And make them again connected back to this corner. Then we can start connecting all the lines from the corners where they meet and bring them down. So basically we're just drawing a series of triangles. And again you can see where your points are where the lines meet. We're just connecting those lines. It seems like a really complicated shape but it can be drawn quite simply. And again, we're just going to do one top line here and connect it here, and connect it here. And of course, diamonds are very sparkly. So what you could do to get the sparkle is you just take your marker and just do some lines coming out like this. And you can just go in the corners where the diamond might sparkle. And you can add just some little dots, a couple more lines. And there you have it, a sparkly diamond. This has been Jacklyn Laflamme, thank you for watching.
