Hello I'm Jacklyn Laflamme. I'm a professional artist with In this clip I'm going to show you how to draw a rowboat. You'll need a sketch book. You'll need some black markers to draw with. We're going to start off with the basic shape of the boat so we're going to take our line down here; then we're going to do a nice long sweep to get in the bottom of the boat, and just a little line up here for the back of the boat. Then we're going to come back up here to this corner, and another nice long little bit of a curve to it, and then another line back here for the outer edge of the backside of the boat, and a line back here. Then we'll just bring one line down here to show that back edge of the boat. Then we're just going to draw in a little piece here and draw a nice long line that's going to be for the oar, one other little line. Then we'll draw in the edges of this oar kind of just like a long rectangle shape. You might want to just curve these edges a little bit and we'll do the same thing here and we'll just show a little piece, almost like a little rectangle for that oar going off into the distance into the water. We can add a little bit more detail to show a thicker line here to show the lip of the boat and we'll just add a couple of little lines to show the wood grain and just some quick little lines here to show that the boat is sitting in water and a couple little lines here where your oars would be hitting the water and there you have it, a row boat. This has been Jacklyn Laflamme. Thank you for watching.
