Hello I am Rosario Nene Ortega, I am a dance instructor. I am performing at the Goddesses Store in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip I am going to show you how to dance Cumbia. What you are going to need are comfortable clothing, nice comfortable shoes, love for the Cumbia music, and a great dance partner. So let's concentrate on the footwork. In the Cumbia, which is a four by four rhythm I am going to start back, change, and forward, change. Back, change, and forward, change. So I am going to do this as slowly again. As I am the woman I am going to start with my right foot going back, back, change my body weight, forward, change. And as I go back I am going to shift my weight, and forward. So it is back, and forward. So as I go back I do some hip movement, some hip movement. So I am going to show you now with my partner. My partner is going to do exactly the same with the left foot. So it is going to go back, and forward, and back, and forward. So you see there is a transfer of your body weight. So I am going to show you now how this works together. And one, and two, and one, and two with the hips, and then I am going to turn around my partner, and two, one, and two, and there is a hip movement. For you Nene Ortega, thank you for watching.
