How to Draw a Spiral Staircase in Perspective
To draw a spiral staircase, use one-point perspective that has a single vanishing point in the center before branching out each step. Draw in reference lines from the vanishing point with a demonstration from an experienced artist in this free video on drawing.

Hello, my name is Savago Lome from savagolome.com. I'm here on behalf of the Broward Art Guild. I'm going to show you how to draw a spiral staircase in perspective. First of all, we use a one point perspective and I need this finishing point that you place in the middle of your paper like this. And now I'm going to draw the vanishing lines that will act as a, on guard perspective lines; so just like this. And now let's draw the spiral; just use smooth lines to show your staircase. So let's say we, we are on the top of the staircase and we look down; and now let's draw the steps of our staircase. So just draw the lines from your vanishing point and you see how helpful the vanishing lines are. So now we're going to draw the, to draw out every step like this. It takes time and this is a little trick I show you. As you're coming up the stairs, your lines should like be more twisted around same way in axis. This is, say axis. So draw the stairs, draw the stairs like this and here is the end of our staircase. Let's say this is the top and now I'm just going to do some wheels here to show this is the stairs. And this is a, down of our stairs so I just put some shadows here. So this is how we draw a spiral staircase in perspective. This is Savago Lome, thank you for watching.
