"Hi my name is Tawana Henderson, I am owner and coordinator of Dreams Come True. Today I am here to talk about gift wrapping techniques. Now there are a few items that you need when you want to do your gift wrapping. Of course, your scissors, your scotch tape, I have some double-sided tape here, gift wrapping paper, and your ribbon. Now, one quick and easy idea sometimes you are just in a quick hurry, and you don't have time to gift wrap. So what you want to do they have these boxes that they sell, and all you do is just kind of fold the box together here, and then just fold it on the end. It has the creases and everything, and it folds in, it has a little slit over here. Let's see, there we go. Goes right in the slit, it has a bow and everything already there. There you go. That's just a little shortcut cheating version. Now I'm going to show you gift wrapping with wrapping paper, and a box. Now the best thing to do is you want to try to conserve as much paper as possible so you can use it for other gifts, and things of that nature. So you want to try to cut as less as possible. So you look on the sides, and you pull it up about half way. Because as long as you have it half way then you know you know if you have enough paper when you flip it over on the other side. So you kind of do the same for the other side, you see where the half way point is make a little fold. Once you the fold in the paper you take your scissors, always go just a little bit over that fold just to make sure. Cut straight across, your cut does not have to be perfect. And then I am going to start with the middle part of the paper, you are going to take your paper, take it to the inside, you want to place, put a piece of tape here. And the reason you do that, that is just to secure it so it will be a nice tight finish. Because if you leave it loose, and you try to bring this side over then you have your paper moving around on you. Now if you have papers like this paper has balloon lines, so sometimes you can just line the balloon, the lines right on up with the other one. If for some reason you don't have a straight edge if you happen to be a piece of wrapping paper that you have previously used then all you have to do is just fold it to make a straight edge there, and the same thing just wrap it there. Now what you can do is put a piece of double-sided tape here on the inside, and then just press down, and that way it doesn't show. When you are doing the sides you want to fold the sides in, fold them into the middle, just make your creases top and bottom. Now whatever is the bottom side, the bottom side that you just finished wrapping you want to fold that side down first. Once again, if it is a little long, if it is going too far over on the other side get your scissors just cut a little bit off. This doesn't matter, because it is going to be on the inside so you just get the regular scotch tape. We want to save the double-sided for the outer sides of the wrapping paper. Then you are going to get your other side, you want to fold it in. If it is sticking too far over the top you don't want to go over the top, you want to fold it in, get your double-sided tape here, place it down, place it there, and do the same side for the other end. Remember folding the sides to the middle, make your corners, where ever the back is you fold that side down first. If it looks to be a little too long or uneven just cut a little bit off the edge. Tape that side, and once again the reason I tape the inner side just to make it a nice tight fit. Get your double-side tape, just put that right on the edge, right on the corner, and then just fold it in. Then you want to place your bow, you can either use a bow that you pre-made or you can use a bow that you purchased from any store. Put a double-side tape, stick it right in the center, and there you have your gift wrapping techniques."
