"Hi my name is Chris Dupre and I am an electric guitar instructor and in this segment we are going to be talking about effects pedal. There are many many different kinds of effects pedals that create many different awesome sounds. In this case I am just going to focus on two, the delay pedal and the wah wah pedal, two of my favorites. O'kay, now a delay pedal, there is a couple of different things for you. It really helps a note carry and as you can hear it just kind of accentuates the note. Now that's with me sustaining the note. If I just hit the note and stop it real quick you can hear how it just kind of echoes along. It is great with chords as well. A neat little effect you can do with the delay pedal is with your volume knob on your guitar. With a little gain you can make a really nice effect. Now the second pedal we want to focus on is the wah pedal. This is a really cool pedal to help express some of your lead playing a little bit. If you are turning something like this into something like this. O'kay, it just adds a little more expression and a little more feeling into what you are trying to do, what you are trying to say. It is really cool to play with that rhythmically as well. In this case I will use a D Minor chord. Now if I'm doing something kind of funky I will throw the wah wah pedal into that, o'kay? Almost like porn music but it's a really cool effect to add to whatever rhythm you are doing or whatever solo you are doing. Those are two examples of some guitar effects pedals."
