A tiki hut is a traditional shelter that is used in Hawaii. Often times, people use it at their luaus. The first thing you need to think about is: what are you going to use your tiki hut for? Are you going to use it to relax under, to entertain guests? After you decide what you're going to use it for, you need to decide on the theme, whether it's going to be a tropical island theme, barbecue-style theme, fishing and nautical-style, and there's also a beach theme. Now you need to think about the decorations. Decorations might include; for a beach theme; surfboards, sand, shells. For a nautical/fishing theme, you might have some fishing poles. You may also include fishnets. On the fishnets, you can hang different sea creatures. Other pictures you can include are pictures of hula girls and any type of scenery from Hawaii. You must keep in mind the size of the tiki hut. You can have them bigger for all of your guests, or you can have them small for a couple of guests. Different items you want to include under your tiki hut are beach chairs, swings, beach towels, and mats. You may also use a tiki hut for entertainment or even a DJ.
