"Hi this is Athena Reich and I am actress, singer, songwriter and performing arts coach here in New York City. Reality TV casting calls are similar to auditions but in that you go and you meet people you show them what you got, but they are very different from auditions in that they do not want actors they want a personality. In my case I I was on a reality TV show coming out on the Food Network, and I got I was completely myself but I was a hundred percent myself with the volume turned up, you know be willing to be very specific about and detailed about who you are, show them who you are with details do not use boring words like, "I am really exciting and unique." Tell them why you are exciting, "I am exciting and unique because I came I come from Canada and I moved here and I did not know anybody and drove this, and I started out working in a puppet show and I drove a puppet mobile around New York City for the first you know three years that I was in New York." I mean some specific detailed story that makes you stand out as a personality. So it is about being yourself but about being a hundred percent yourself and it is it is about you know being unique without saying that you are unique by telling detailed stories."
