"Here is a timeless classic lick in the key of E minor. Let's check it out, two, three, four. You can hear this type of lick by players such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page. It is a phenomenal lick, it is fun to play. I suggest you start off real slow, and just get it clean before you move your tempo up. Let's break this lick down. We are going to be using the E minor pentatonic scale. We are going to start with our third finger on the B string on the fifteenth fret. Our second finger is going to be on the fourteenth fret on the B string. And our first finger is going to be on the twelfth fret B string. We are going to bend that note up a whole step using these other fingers to help bend. And remember we are going to bend a lot with our hand not straight up and down with our fingers, because you're not going to get that done right. So you bend, then we are going to use our first finger high E string twelfth fret. And then we are going to pull off from the fifteenth to the twelfth fret using our third finger to our first finger. So it sounds like this. And then we are going to bend using our third finger on the fourteenth fret on the G string. And on that one I am actually bending up just with my second finger, and then I'm going back to the twelfth fret high E string. And then to the fifteenth fret on the B string to the twelfth fret pull off. So it's the same, so we are going to bend here, and bend on the fourteenth fret, and play the same lick right here. So it sounds like this. Let's here this with the metronome, two, three, four."
