"So it's New Year's time. And you have some children and you want to celebrate with them. But you're not sure how you're going to do that. Well, my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine events. And I'm going to celebrate New Year's with your children. What you're going to want to do, is have some activities out for them. Kind of start, you don't want to start too early in the day. But you know, maybe around dinner time. You're going to start talking about how you're going to have this great celebration. It's New Year's. And kind of, tell them all about, it's going to start over a whole new year. Maybe talk about the calendar a little bit with them. Also get some crafts out. You know, this is a special time and make this fun for them. So get some paint and some pencils and pens. And you know, maybe set up a little craft table for them. And if you're having any friends come over. Maybe they'll bring in their children. You know, you want to make sure that you have some activities for them, as well. Noise makers are really big with the kids. They think, this is like the coolest thing. So you want to make sure, you can get some of these really big you know, clackers for them. You know, even the noise makers, hats, make it festive and fun. You're of course, going to want to have some Champagne and some alcohol for the adults. But for the children, you know, get the plastic champagne glasses. Or get you know, any kind of cool, fun funky like plastic glasses. The kids can hold around. And make it toast each other. And say cheers. And get some sparkling grape juice and put that in for them. So they feel like they're part of the celebration, as well. And they're not being left out. So those are some ideas on how you can celebrate, you know, New Year's Eve with your children. Even if they fall asleep before the stroke of midnight. At least they feel like they were kind of, you know, involved in the whole, you know, celebration of New Year's Eve. So again, my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events. And best of luck on having your New Year's party."
