This is Oscar Moreno again with Moreno Custom Home Visions and today we are going to teach you guys how to fix an electrical plug. Now the first things that you are going to need are going to be the utility knife. The second is you need a pair of wire splicers. Third of all you are going to need a screwdriver. Also you are going to need a new plug which is this guy right here. Now then you are used to seeing things that happen just like this and what we are going to end up doing is cutting the actual wire, splicing the wires apart, taking apart the new plug by removing these screws and it will expose everything clearly and which you need to do. Once you have it open it is self explanatory, there you are going to find yourself with a copper screw and an aluminum screw and a green screw and you are going to be attaching your black to your copper, your white to your aluminum and your green to your green screw. You are going to slide in your extension cord first to this end and then after you have got that you will be attaching all your proper filaments on to where they are supposed to go and once that is in place you are going to end up with a brand new plug.
