How to Get a Room Makeover From a TV Design Show

"So, your house looks kind of like garbage, and you want somebody to help fix it up, and make it look a little prettier than what you think it is, huh? So how do you get a free room design from a home design show? Well, I'm Joe Pauly, and I've got about twenty years in the TV business, and entertainment field, and I'm going to try and help you out. First thing I can tell you is, if you're a millionaire, you're probably not going to get a freebie from a TV show. It might help to be a little more down in the row, so what I can tell you now is, get some help. Start watching all the shows that you like to see. All of the TV design shows, start watching them. Learn the rules. Look at the people they cast. Look at the houses they look for, and look at the rooms that they tend to go with. If it's an attic they specialize in, look at your attic. If it's a basement, look at your basement. Get neighbors and friends to help you out too. Maybe shoot a video. Actually a video would probably be a pretty good idea. Show the before of how ratty looking this room might be, and get some help with it. Say hey, I want some help fixing this room up. Send the video in .Check out the websites on the TV shows.
