"Hello, my name is Athena Reich, and I'm an actress and acting coach here in New York City. In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to become an actress. So, you want to be a Broadway star. Do you want to come to New York City Times Square, and perform here? How do you do it? Well, as a female you've got to think what kind of type are you? Are you going to play an ingenue, a lover? Then, you're probably going to have to maintain a thin body type and long hair, put on nice makeup, wear pretty dresses or things to shows, whatever's approp, to auditions, whatever's appropriate for the character you're going. Or perhaps you're a character actress. You're more, more personality you know, you like I'm more of a personality of a character actress because I'm kind of quirky, so you know, for me it's it's more about showing that perkiness on the outside, looking a little bit different in the auditions. Maybe you're a big woman and you sing really great. There's a lot of roles to be a big woman and sing really great. So, really think about what type you are as an actress. Get headshots that reflect that type. Put yourself out there and be that type that you market. This has been Athena Reich, in New York City"
