How to Get an Acting Job on the Disney Channel

"In this clip, we're going to be talking about how to get an acting job with the Disney Channel. Now, first of all, if you watch the Disney Channel, you'll know that most of the actors and actress of TV shows they have on there have a certain type of presents or there're wholesome. There're you know very happy. There're very positive very optimistic. So, you have to make sure you are this type of person. Now, the next thing you need to do if you have an agent, go to your agent and say, "Hey, I want to be on the Disney Channel and I'm sure that they will have lots of gigs for you to go audition with that are with the Disney Channel but you need to have some credentials. First of all, make sure that well you want to be able to sing. A lot of people that make it on the Disney Channel they can sing and they can dance look at Miley Cyrus. She just doesn't do Disney because she can't dance, she can actually dance okay and sing as well. That is a very important in getting a show and getting a job on the Disney Channel. If you don't have any connections with Disney or anything like that, one good thing is to build up your resume. If you're still in high school do you know try to audition for your high school musicals by doing that or the community musicals and basically create a persona of yourself that you are a happy person that you like to sing. You like to dance. You like to hey and that will help you get a job at Disney Channel."
