"I'm Rokosz, Your Digital Lifestyle Expert here. With some information on how to troubleshoot your television set. Alright, right here, no program available. Nothing is happening. Alright, there are so many different things to look at in television sets. I'm going to go through some methodology here to step by step check everything. I troubleshoot electronics all the time. It's all about getting back to a known good. And checking things off the checklist. O.k. So some of the things, I'm going to mention are going to sound basic. But do verify them. The number one, the first thing they call, they tell you to do. When you call your computer tech support line. Is to make sure that the computer is plugged in. You think the guy on the other line is an idiot. But also, the number one cause of computer issues for people to call helplines. Is because they don't have it plugged in or turned on. O.k., what can I say? So do it. Make sure the TV is plugged in. Make sure the breaker hasn't tripped. Alright, back to a known good. O.k., we've got power coming to the room, power to the outlet, power to the unit. Great, you're having hard time controlling things. Check the batteries in your remote control. Nine out of ten times, it will work perfectly. And then just stop working. You know, remotes don't slow down. Alright, so now th electricity's coming in. And we have proper control over the unit. The other thing is to make sure, you're on the right input. It used to be, you turned your TV on. And there it was. Well, this unit has inputs on the side that I can put into. Five inputs on the back that I can deal with. O.k. And then it's got the cable. And then whatever else I want to matrix to it through an AV system like my home theater system. I, So I want to make sure that I've got good signals coming in. My cable box is plugged in. That I've cable in other parts of the house. That my VCR is turned on, that the wires are hooked to the proper place. And then, when I'm trying to look at the VCR. That I'm scrolling through to find the right places to see it. O.k. There we go. AV1, AV2, HDMI1. There are so many different places that information will come in. alright, now we've got the picture on AV1 in the back. So does it have a good, good signal there? Is everything wired correctly? If you've checked all those things here. Everything seems to be working, as I mentioned. But you're getting no results. Either paw through the FAQs in the, on their website. In the manual that came with it. And once you've hit that place, it's time to seek professional help. And possibly a TV repair man. Ha, ha, I am Rokosz, Your Digital Lifestyle Expert. Saying, string me later."
