Princess Cut Wedding Dress Shapes

Video Preview

Summary: Princess cut wedding dress shapes are flattering to the shape and figure of many brides because they are fitted at the waist and flair through the hips. Busty brides should avoid a princess cut wedding dress with an empire waistband, and use advice from a bridal shop consultant in this free video on wedding dresses.

Video Transcript

"Hi I'm Jenna Dunn at Walkers' Eternity Bridal and Prom in Privo, Utah. Today we're discussing some different shapes and styles of wedding dresses. This is a princess cut. As you can tell, it is very similar to an a-line shape where it is fitted and then flairs through the hips and throughout the rest of the dress. This dress is flattering to many figures and shapes. However, those girls that are a little bit bustier want to steer clear of anything with an empire band because it accentuates the bust line when you may want to be trying to minimize it. This dress can also be worn with different style necklines or with different style sleeves."
