"Hi. Welcome everybody. I'm Lars-Eric Robinson, and my company name is Lars of Arts. All Around Artainment is my slogan. Today I'm going to talk about how we can use crayons in a piece. What I have here is a scratch board I created. I have a lot of crayon that's all underneath here already. If you can envision this, just a white poster board. I just put a variety of different colors all underneath it. This is red I'm playing around with right now, and it's all underneath. Then, once I was done with that, I brushed on a black indie ink all over the crayons. I made sure the crayons was covered over the whole piece. Also, the paper should be a very slick and waxy paper to begin with - almost like a poster board paper. That helps when you go in here to create your scratch effect. This is like a scratch board effect now. I want to be able to create the highlights. So the colors underneath here are showing up. As you can tell right here, this is where all the blues and reds are underneath. It really creates a nice texture. If you just scrape a little bit you'll see that the colors are coming through. See the yellow coming through here? You can even take the flatter part of your exacto. It shows through. If you zoom in on this, you can see the nice textures that we have right there. It's carried over here. That's one way you can be able to use crayons. You can always go right on top of it again and add more of your crayon color there. So crayons are not just for little kids anymore. They can be used in art. Isn't that amazing. Thank you so much for joining me. I'm Lars-Eric Robinson."
