"Hello. Welcome, everybody. My name is Lars Erik Robinson. My company is Lars Arts, All Around Art-tainment. And what we have in my studio here today is we're going to talk about how you could take different photographs and different pieces to make a collage to make some art work out of it. Here, I created a piece that's like a tree. I wanted to create a tree to...a tree of life, and that the tree can evolve into humans and everything's all the same. We have animals in here and I was trying to create a movement of things circulating around, showing that it actually comes back and everything in the world rotates. So basically, I took different photographs and I just ripped them apart. For example, over here, if we have a piece and we just rip it apart...to create this texture here, if we imagine this, I just actually ripped it apart and it creates a texture. You can also use Exact-o blades if you want to be real sharp with it. You can cut it. And use the average glue stick that you have laying around the house is good. Now, this edge is sharper than the others, so it create...you can, like, try to figure out where you want to have that. See, that's kind of neat. That would even work in it. It's even on both sides. So that's how you lay out different things. You try to look at composition at the same time. You still try to think about how you're trying to convey your message. So it's another way to be able to create art and another medium that you could do it in. So if I was going to cut right here in this one, I can use that and peel it right off. And usually, you want to try to put it on there before you're all done. So I hope that gives you a little bit of understanding of how you can actually use your magazines you have laying around your house. Just look through your magazines. "Oh, that's a neat image." You can cut it out and just paste it on, and then maybe you can come back to it later. And after you find another piece, add that on there. And just before you even glue it on, just lay it all out and then glue it once you've...once you know where you want to have it. Well, I hope you get a little bit more understanding how you can use collage and art and what amazing thing that is. Thank you so much."
