"Hi, I'm Tim Gipson and I'm going to talk to you about how to fix your vacuum cleaner. Now start now with some of the things, occasionally we can despite our best efforts we may run over our vacuum cords several times, and we can get some wear. Now this is a nice new cord, so we're not going to have to worry about it here. Now keep in mind if you ever get where this outer casing does break down and starts exposing some wires, you'll want to come back a very easy fix to that is just to wrap this with black electrical tape or you can even use duct tape. Now black electrical tape probably will look a little better, duct tape won't look as nice, but it will be functional and safe. If you ever get to the point as you can see here, one thing we want to keep an eye on as we unplug - we're not very good about always pulling these straight out so we can get these bent prongs. A lot of times you can bend these back with your fingers, or you may need to get a little pair of pliers and you'll want to try to keep these nice and straight. If it gets to the point where one of these breaks off, you can go to any home improvement store and you can buy a new connector and simply cut this off, reattach the wires, they are labeled inside on how to do that so it's very easy to do. Now if our vacuum is not picking up that good, one thing we want to check, we get inside the bag here, if your bag is not full, then you might want to go ahead and look down and in this case this is a top-filled bag which is a very good vacuum to have, and you might just check down in here in this nozzle here, just to see if there's any debris that's caught in there. That's a typical place for debris to collect which can reduce that suction. The other thing you want to check is on the bottom, and for right now I'm not going to remove this but we can remove this plate and there's a couple things that you're going to have in here. You're going to have the inlet to the hose that goes up to the bag. You'll want to check that area to make sure that's clear of debris. And then the other thing and this particular model has a spare belt that is stowed in the bottom here. But that's the other thing goes wrong if you have that belt break and the roller stops rolling, it's very easy to pull this roller out, put the new belt in and then replace. Everything is just held in with three screws in here, very easy to fix. So I'm Tim Gipson and that's some common things to fix on your vacuum cleaner."
