"What I'll be talking about in this section is really about using and applying different techniques within pro tools. Now within pro tools, there's a lot of different ways of doing certain things as far as doubling tracks and adding EQ's and adding effects. Now, there's certain types of ways to add certain things, in order to achieve certain sounds, which I'm going to go over today, like the right way to like add an EQ, the right way to add a reverb, the right way to add you know, certain effects and create play lists, you know what I'm saying, creating play lists so that you can copy tracks easily and switch between different types of arrangements, you know what I'm saying, so if you have you know you know a certain track with two different types of arrangements on it, two different patterns, you can switch between the two very easily and I'm going to show you how to do that today. When using pro tools, it's very important that you know all of these things for the mixing process, because the mixing process is only as good as how much you know about the program. If you don't know how to do certain things within the program, it's going to be very hard for you to mix the way that you want to mix."
