"So you're planning your rehearsal dinner menu. Where do you start? Hi, I'm Jessica Meiczinger, and I'm going to talk about how to choose your menu for your rehearsal dinner. First of all, you want to start out, you know, if there's a certain theme, gear the food towards that theme. Also, you want to look in to different venues, also develop a guest list for your rehearsal dinner. Sometimes you just include the bridal party, other times you invite all of your relatives and out of town friends and family who have traveled in for the wedding. Definitely things to keep in mind for the menu, you don't want it to take away from the wedding day itself. You want, if you're doing a plated dinner for the wedding reception, you want to maybe do a different plated dinner menu for the rehearsal dinner, or do something light and casual, like a buffet. You could also do a luncheon, that's another option. Also, when you choose the food, you want to make sure it suits everybody's dietary needs and likes or dislikes. If you're doing a theme, you know, you could do it an Italian theme buffet, you could do a Mexican fiesta. If you wanted to do like a bowling theme and have a more causal, fun rehearsal dinner, you could just go get different types of snacks and popcorn at the bowling alley and keep it simple, and a couple of pitchers of beer, and soda. Or you could do a pizza party, you know, and keep it light and fun. So those are just some ideas on how to choose your menu for your rehearsal dinner. And again, I'm Jessica Meiczinger, and happy planning."
