I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events and I'm just going to go over some ideas on what to do when tipping the wedding vendors. First of all, you want to go ahead and prepare everything ahead of time. Get some little envelopes or a little thank you notes and prepare you know your list of vendors and who you want to give a gratuity to at the end of the evening. You know go ahead and personalize each note. Write a nice little thank you note to the vendors thanking them for what a great evening you know they've done a job they've done throughout the evening and also you know helping you along the planning road. Make sure you designate one person to hand those out whether it be you the bride and groom themselves or you know pick your bridal consultant or also you know if you don't have a bridal consultant, go ahead and have your Best Man or Maid of Honor to take care of that. Also, before you decide on tipping vendors make sure you know especially when tipping the wait staff make sure the facility your at, they allow you to tip the wait staff. Some hotels and venues and catering companies have you know rules about that. You know rule of thumb you know think about your budget you know when dividing you know who and what you want to pay towards the vendors. Go ahead and you know average about ten to fifteen percent for you know your wedding consultant, DJ, florist, any other entertainment. The officiant you could give the donation to the church you know for the wait staff you know think of it as if you where at a restaurant you know your tip rule of thumb is fifteen to twenty percent and if somebody you know goes above and behind, feel free to give them a little extra. So, those are just some ideas on how to tip wedding vendors. Thanks again and I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events."
