"So, you just got engaged and you're thinking about planning your wedding, but you're not the one who's into all the attention on you and the glitz, glamor and this big huge wedding. Well I am Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I am going to tell you how to plan a small wedding. The first thing that you're going to want to do is think of your guest list. You're going to want to; If you're having a small wedding, think of just inviting your immediate family; on your side as well as the groom's side, maybe a couple of close friends. Keep it small, simple and intimate. The next thing that you're going to want to do is think of a date and a location and find something that's more quaint and intimate and small; keeping with your whole small theme wedding. You can do it maybe at like a nice little country club; maybe even at; in the backyard of your own home. Maybe, you know a local restaurant. You can get like a small little private area there. Even people who have small weddings, they might want to think about doing a destination wedding. Maybe you're from up North and you want to come down South, and you just want to do like a small little beach wedding and just invite that immediate family and bring them; kind of get a little nice; make them feel comfortable that it is small and it's intimate. Maybe give them a; like a welcome bag; that sort of thing and when you're sending out your invitations, also think about; you know, let the people know that this is like a small, you know, intimate wedding and kind of personalize in those invitations a little bit to know that this is going to be just like a really close wedding that everyone's going to just feel like they're just there to celebrate this special time with you.
