"Alright folks, in this clip I'm going to teach you how to create superheroes, create your own cast of heroes. The best way to do this, is just to let yourself begin to come up with these crazy stories in your head. And ultimately you'll start to see- you'll get impressions of characters that you can create and stories that you want to tell, and that is really just the best way to kind of get in the mindset of creating these world where heroes are- play a part in our focal point of your story telling. Start to just picture different situations and scenarios and get them down on paper, that is really the best way to create a cast of heroes. The thing that I find incredibly handy, is being able to really move with a speed and precision, and allowing yourself to really just sink into this world and to create quickly. Because as soon as you can move sort of with a speed of thought, and start to create characters like that, you'll find that the story just naturally flow out of you, and it becomes like, almost like breathing. But until you're able to get to the point where you can really visualize things, and take them to the next level, and really execute like a speedy sort of a design in a execution, you're never going to fully be able to explore these worlds, because you're constantly going to be second guessing yourself. You got to really commit to something and do it. So when you're creating these heroes, really think about each one of them, what is it that makes them take, what is it that they're out there to do, how they- either working together or working against each other. Allow your pen to just to kind of begin to explore these scenarios and think about the situations that brought these heroes to where they are now. And then allow yourself also the possibility of creating some really amazing, crazy, different looks, like don't limit yourself basically, like think outside the box. Think about the different stories that are possible for you to tell, just using the things that you're cooking up there in your brain, like allow your brain to basically just kind of let itself loose. And it's not always going to be pretty at first, when you're creating heroes, a lot of the times you'll start to kind of wonder, okay, what is it that I kind of stumbled upon here, is this even working right now? And you'll create villains, you'll create heroes, you'll create guys that are utterly ridiculous sometimes, and you'll end up looking back going, wow, that was stupid, like that doesn't even make any sense whatsoever. But, like, just basically allow yourself to start drawing these things and getting the ideas down, so that when you go back and look, you can sort of separate the wheat from the chaffs, so to speak, and that's basically what I'm doing here. Like basically just give yourself a blank page, and allow yourself the possibility to get in there and just draw, create these heroes from scratch, and allow yourself, in your brain, to create a license to explore these worlds, that's really the only way to create a superhero. So let yourself sink into the place where they inhabit, it's a crazy, crazy place to go, in your brain, you'll discover things, and tap into things that maybe you weren't even aware that you cared about or thought about. As soon as you really just kind of let your mind begin to go and begin to wander, it's amazing the things you can come up with. So basically what I'm doing here, is, I'm just like coming up with different looks, characters, moment, poses, that is really the best way to kind of get inside the mind of a group of heroes, and really just sort of flesh out who they are, and why they are, and who they are, and what their agenda is, and all that stuff."
