Color Theory: Mixing Yellow & Green

"Now on this one we need more blue. That's looking, that's still looking a little red so I'm going to sneak a little more blue in here. Now one of the things you do have to know is that as soon as you put two pigments together you're going to have a somewhat duller pigment. It's not going to be as strong and as bright. But there we go. There we go, there's violet. And then we've got blue and yellow makes green. So, I'm going to put some blue over here. And, I've got to wash my brush out really well because I don't want to get too messy with the yellow and we'll makes some green. There's my yellow. I'm probably not going to need, see I don't need a whole lot of blue to get green. And, there we go. That's a little bit better. But it's kind of a dull green. I'll show you in a minute. And there's the green. Now this actually looks more like a yellow green. So, I'm going to put this here. Because I'm going to cheat on the green. And I'm just going to add in some green from a bottle. And there we have our secondary colors."
