"So right now we're going to look at the A sting just like the G and D string. When you've reached a point where you've tuned really well and you're in tune you want to hear a nice ring on top. And it helps if you kind of press your bow in just a little bit, not, not too much. You don't want to hear that type of crunch but enough so you can pull the sound out you'll be able to hear that ring even more. You're going to hear a little bit of harmonic on top and so again this is the Concert A 440. Typically when you're tuning you start with the A string first so in the beginning when you're first learning to tune remember to first start with the A string because all of the other strings are going to be tuned in conjunction with the A string. So it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the A string first because this is the first string you're going to be tuning when you first start to tune the violin in general and a, next we're going to look at the E string."
