"The next thing I show you is called Figure Eight with the hips. Again you want to start with your correct posture, you want to make sure your feet are about shoulder length apart. What you want to do, is I usually have my students cross the hips first, bringing one hip forward first and then twist to the other hip. Twist, we're just doing a simple twist here, twist, and twist. Twist and twist. What we're going to draw is almost like a figure eight on the floor, so this is going to be a crossing point here when you're twisting. Twist, twist, now we're going to add that with the actual loop on to it. What you want to do is twist your hip forward, we're going to push it out and around. We're drawing the circle here with our hip. Now we're at the angle where we're twisted, we're going to slide our hip across, bring it forward, slide it around to the side and back and cross over. We're in that angle we were in with a twist, so slide your hip across, push it out, around to the back. Now to the back angle, this hip's ready to slide forward, come across, push it out, push, push, now it's back. This one's ready to slide forward, slide and around. From the side, this would look like, bring this hip forward, slide it around, to the back. Now this one's ready to push forward. Push, and around to the back. Push and around to the back. This is your Figure Eight with Hips. Now we're going to smooth it out."
