"So the first thing that you're going to want to do on your wedding day is moisturize your skin. I'm using a light moisturizer with an SPF in it on Alex because her wedding's outdoor and we want to make sure that she doesn't get any extra sun that day and turn red. So, I'm evenly distributing this all over her face and I'm using a foundation brush to do it. You can use your hands if you'd like, but make sure that they're clean. It's really important to moisturize your skin before you apply makeup because it helps blends the products easier and if you have dry spots, the pigment is going to stick to it and it's going to look at a little a spotty. "Turn your head a little bit". And also, you probably want to moisturize your skin twice that day, once right before you do your makeup and once in the morning when you get out of the shower just to give it that really radiant, beautiful looking skin. Moisturizers are really important as it keeps your skin looking healthy and it also helps with aging especially if you use sunscreen. So that's step 1, moisturizing the skin."
