"Lets learn how to do what we call a butt shimmy. The reason we call it that is it's lower and the knees are going to be still. So let’s make sure the feet are slightly apart, really press your weight down into your heels, bend those knees. Pull that belly in and lift the chest. Remember the hips are going to go up into the rib cage. So the knees are going to be a little bit more still and it's going to be more of this working here. So you get a little bit bigger movement the more the knees are bent, then the hips can move. Now we speed it up into a shimmy. Remember with the shimmy you can always count it to the music. Make sure your chest is lifted, pull this in and keep it going. Keep it nice and even, make sure both hips are moving side to side evenly. Use your side muscles. It's a good way to get a good work out. Keep breathing and keep it there. Practice this in the mirror and make sure you have everything lined up really nicely. The hips are moving together really well."
