"Now we're going to talk about the heel dig. When you do the heel dig you want to hit only the bottom part of the heel tap on the floor. The heel dig is usually used as part of a more complex step in tap. Now I'll show you how to execute the heel dig. Lift your foot up behind you and dig your heel into the floor. You can also do it to the side. And that's a heel dig. Now to the left, digging your heel into the floor. Make sure to only get the bottom part of the tap on the floor. Heel dig to the side."
