"In this segment I'm just going to talk a little bit about the angle that I keep the soft box at. There's a bunch of different things to consider. I like to, a lot of times I like to keep the soft box flat like I have here which basically parallel to the subject and not angled in. I think it provides a nice wrap and illumination. Another thing to consider on all the different angles is the height of your soft box to the subject. And as I raise it up it really changes what the light is illuminating. Sometimes you just want to get the head and leave the body dark if that's what you want to emphasize. Actually going to raise this soft box up and kind of point it down at the subject. And this will actually provide a light that probably looks a little bit more natural like sunlight. "Cause this is probably how you see most people. In this one I'm going for more moody lighting where I have the, where I want to keep a little more shadow on one side of the face."
