"I performed my Master's at UCLA in the 80's and one of the museums that I would go most often to would be The Museum of Modern Art in Los Angeles and found it a fun museum, you know certainly contemporary artist sort of synonymous with Los Angeles and the whole western art genre and so I really found it an excellent resource for my research. The LA County Museum I just really enjoyed but one thing I guess I was fortunate to work with and to visit so many of the private galleries which were very strong and supportive of the art that also that the museum exhibited so there was a strong support between private galleries and public spaces. Also they had a very interesting program wherein they rented art to private spaces be it a corporation or be it a home, you could rent an original work of art at a fraction of the value then if you were to purchase it so in a year's time you would have this famous work in your house and you didn't have to purchase it. So it was an interesting program I felt that was unique to that museum."
