"Alright. This segment is on how to become a rap producer. Remember music is sounds. You know like birds, everything like that. Music is a part of life. So pretty much go with, you know, you creating a good beat is matching some good sounds together. Drum kicks, you know your pianos, organs, everything like that. Make a good beat, it attract artists. Rappers, singers and things like that. Remember a producer needs a rapper, a singer, a artist and a artist needs the producer. That's what makes a full song. So to become a good rap producer, you need a good machine that a lot of the major artist, major producers use, mp3, you know that's a beat machine. You got your beat drums on there. You store sounds in the machine. Your basic, your keyboards, Roland keyboards, your Korg keyboards and it's a synthesizer. It loops the sounds and you can just ,you can loop your tracks with that. So that's how you're a starter. You want to start, if you want to be a producer, you want to start with getting some gear. Getting some good gear. Like I say, the good brands that I use is Korg, Roland and Akai. Those are some good machines that you might want to look into if you're looking at being a good producer, you know. A good idea on getting your beats heard, getting your tracks heard, your music heard, a wonderful thing is the Internet. You know, load a couple of your tracks on line. Give them snippets. Remember don't ever give a person your full track cause you got crooked people out here. So you want to give them snippets and talk over your tracks. Keep your vocal or something, saying something in there, set your signature in the track so people will know that that's your track and won't nobody be able to take it away from you. You do snippets or you can distribute it by cds. Put it on cd, put a few, few tracks on cd and you know you go to the local shows, your local shows, areas. Find out where shows are and get with the rappers. Remember rappers need beats. So you want to distribute it like that. Let them take you home, if they feeling your beats, they will be giving you a call. So that's how to become a rap producer."
