Hi, I'm Bill Connolly your artist and cartoonist extraordinaire. We're going to learn how to draw a sunflower today. I always like to start out with the basic shapes. You've seen those sunflowers when you're driving along the road and I'm just going to kind of basically put it in there and they go way up here. You can make another one and you can go in now and fill in just the basic shape. They have kind of like those little dots or texturing in the middle, that we can fill in. You can make a little rounded and a huge stem coming down like that. It's fund to do them out of your head sometimes rather than looking at pictures. Now what you can do is to get the different values, if you're not going to color it in, you're going to do a black and white, you can go and I think a good effect would be to make little dots like that. If you wanted to play with the leaves a little bit you could go in and make little lines on there to make it give a little bit of character to it. You can even go down like that and make the leaves also a little texture too and a little bit of grass, a little bit of cartoon shading there. You can make them even more brilliant. And that is the basic design of how to draw a sunflower. Good job. And I'm Bill Connolly your artist and cartoonist extraordinaire, and thanks for watching.
