Hey, this is DJ Hurricane here in South Beach Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to build a DJ booth. First for our base, we're going to use a heavy-duty X stand and the bottom of my road case coffin. That's going to give us a sturdy base so that way your needles aren't jumping all around. Next we're going to take my other coffin with the two turntables and place it right on top, just like this. All right now that we've got our turntables and mixer set up on our coffin base, next thing we've got to do is hook everything up through the mixer. The mixer's got some specific inputs and outputs. You've got inputs for phono and inputs for line. In today's setup, we're going to be using a Serado's Scratch Live. So, the turntables are going into the Serado interface and the Serado outputs are going to go into your mixer and your line. All right, like I said, we're going to be using a Serado interface, so I built this stand and we're going to try it out today for our laptop stand. Yeah, it's pretty sturdy, I think it'll work. All right, we've got our base, our two turntables, our mixer, our laptop stand and our laptop for Serado, looks like we're good to go. This is DJ Hurricane and that's how to build a DJ setup.
