Hi. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to tell you about getting rid of dust on wood blinds. There are several different ways you can do this. A lot of times, people try to vacuum their blinds, but it ends up being more trouble than it's worth. Invest in one of these things. They're awesome. They fit in between the blinds, so that you're getting both sides of a blind while you do this. You know, it's a little bit tedious, because you've got to get in every single nook and cranny. You've got to go through every single blind. But there is no quick way to clean blinds. None. You're never going to get your blinds cleaned quickly. It takes time, and that's just how it is. But they do their job, so keep them clean. Another thing you can do is close them, and go over them like this. I don't think this works as well as the other way, but it's a lot faster. If you have a friend who said: Hey, you know, I'm stopping by for just a couple of minutes, and you don't have long to clean them; then do this. Flip them over the other way, and do the other side. So you want to get both sides. And after you do this, you may want to go over with it a wood cleaner or a wood polish. And that's going to keep you from accumulating so much dust before you have to dust again, obviously. Be careful of what kind you put on your blinds, because some may not be safe. You don't want something to build up on your blinds constantly. You just need to be careful. It's easy to do, but it's time consuming. And that's just the nature of the beast. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is the best way to remove dust from wood blinds.
