This clip is how to copyright your music and your band name. Well first copyrighting a band name. You can either start a website and that pretty much copyrights it right there or if you have an album when you send it in to the copyright office it includes the band name on the artwork and all that so that pretty much copyrights your band name. As far as your music you can either do it two ways. You can either do the official way of copyrighting which is sending into the copyright office and the other way is do the poor man's copyright. You just put it in an envelope and you send it to your own address and you don't open it so it's sealed and dated when it goes through the post office and it is pretty much approved right there but the best way to and the safest way to copyright your stuff is to go through the copyright office. I think it is copyright.gov or you can just google it but you probably want to do that if you are going to create a full album and you want to definitely safeguard your music but those are a few ways to copyright your material.
