Now you may consider yourself a photographer. Whether or not you have the training and education behind you to be a professional photographer is something else. Well, then you might ask yourself a question, 'What training does a photographer need?' Well, opinions may vary. And if you're a creative person, you may say 'Zero.' A photographer needs zero training because they will learn their own creative techniques and create their own photographs based upon their vision and their creativity. So, really, what kind of training does a photographer need? Well, number one, you need to know a couple of basic things. You need to know something about framing, composition of your photographs. You need to know something about your shutter speed. You need to know the type of equipment that you're using, and how to use it properly. If you get to know how to use your equipment, nine out of ten things will be covered in your job as a photographer, because the rest of it is all about creativity. And it's all subjective. What some people may call a terrible shot, others may call art. So, what training do you really need to be a photographer? Well, I suggest, number one, know how to use the equipment that you're using. So if you need to get professional training to be able to do that, I suggest you do that, at least. And then, let the creativity run.
