The question is about what about Sharpie oil based paint pens. Sharpie is a very common house hold name. They are most well known for their black magic marker or marker type pen which I am holding in my hand, average to write on glass, metal, wood, things around the house. They also make a range of paint pens that are oil based that have added durability on metal and glass, wood, plastic, craft projects and oil based as opposed, it gives you great opacity to work on different colors rather than just white. Your normal Sharpie marker is designed to work on a very lighter white surface. The oil based Sharpie paint markers can virtually write on any color. The only limitations would be don't work on oily or a chalky surface. The Sharpie paint pens while different from the normal Sharpie just have the ability to be used in craft projects and on many dark surfaces and are very versatile and come in a very nice range of colors.
