Hi, my name's James Flint. I'm a professional photographer, and I'd like to talk to you about where you can buy parts, and accessories for your camera. It's kind of a general term, where can I buy parts for my camera, where can I buy accessories for my camera, because say you need something simple, like a lens cloth, to clean your lens, or an extra camera battery, that's something you can find locally. Camera batteries, you can buy at any battery store, a lot of grocery stores, and definitely any camera stores. The thing that can get tricky, is if you need a particular part, that is specific to your camera, something in the mechanics, Often times, if something goes wrong with the inside of your camera, and you need a part, you're going to have to contact the manufacturer. Now, if you're just talking about buying accessories, like additional lenses, or a carrying bag, things of that nature, you can shop for those things on line, and shop around, find the best price, or a trusted camera store, in your home town. Often it's nice to speak with someone in person, because they can give you a good description of what you're going to get. But often times you'll find that prices on line are a little bit cheaper. But, do be careful of the shipping, and handling, because you might find something where, the certain part or accessory is cheaper, on one site, but then they charge more for shipping and handling. Some credited, camera part, and accessory distributors, include, the BNH catalog, the Camulet catalog, and again, you can try your local camera stores. Most towns, have a camera shop, and they can give you a great explanation of everything you'd be looking at. Some people are more comfortable shopping on line, some people prefer to shop in person, have a name associated with the product. It's kind of a matter of personal preference. But, I do encourage you, before you buy any parts, or accessories, to look around, to make sure you're getting the best product, at the best price. So, again, if you want to know where exactly to buy the best parts, you're going to need to do a little research. Certain things are going to be easy to find at home. Certain things can be found in general stores, like a WalMart, or a Target. Other things, you need to get to a specific photo shop. And for specific parts, I would go directly to the manufacturer.
