"If you have a comedy show that you're looking to promote, there's several ways to go about doing it. Number one, you can advertise. Well how do you go about advertising? Well, you can find your local newspapers, magazines within your area. Sometimes there are new shoppers or thrifty nickels. You can also see about doing some TV advertising, TV commercials. Radio advertising is a great way to promote your comedy show. There's always if nothing else, the old grass roots plan, gorilla marketing. Get yourself a lot of fliers. Go out to the different areas, store parking lots and blast every car that you see right up underneath the windshield wiper. The more people you let know about what you're doing, the more people you let know about your show, the more people that are going to show up. You can also go to clubs, socializing find different groups and events and parties that you can participate in to tell people about your actual comedy show. Remember, it's all about word of mouth. The more people you let know what you're doing, the more you can get that buzz out there to promote your actual show."
